These are the 2 displays that I blogged about earlier.
1) 10 Books Must Read Before They Hit The Big Screen - This 'baby' of mine was conceived before the recent Summer break (2013). It took a great deal of searches from the Internet, YouTube and a BBC News & Entertainment clips. I am excited with this topic as they are 5 movies which I am definitely going to be watching in the movies. There are more titles that didn't make it to the board as we haven't buy them yet e.g. The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort (starring Leonardo DiCaprio), Serena by Ron Rash and Horns by Joe Hill (starring Daniel Radcliffe). Back to the movies I wanted to catch - a) City of Bones (must watch as if you are a Twilight & Harry Potter fan) b) Divergent (if you like the Hunger Games series and hungry for more such movies) c) Hunger Games; Catching Fire (if you have watched Hunger Game and also a fan of Jennifer Lawrence) d) The Book Thief (it is a big hoo-haa claiming that it is a good book) e) Nelson Mandela; A Long Walk to Freedom (he is a World icon, it would be a pity if you missed it) I would suggest that you to watch Invictus - 2009 biographical film (starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon) too. 2) Make Your Mark; with International Dot Day - This particular display is a challenge. It is to celebrate the creativity that inspires. This is an initiative made inspires from a lovely picture book entitled The Dot by Peter Reynolds. We only have one copy of the book. It took me a day to put this up. The display featured the book itself on how creativity was born and how one could inspires others by passing on the act of encouragement. It is a beautiful story with lovely illustrations. I suppose it would be a great gift to any child and people who keep inspiring others. I would like to dedicate this board to all of those people who inspires me - you know who you are! And I thank the boss who linked me up with this website and suggested to do something about it. Display-In-Progress: Halloween *peace dot*
